Furniture for Log Cabin, Wizards' Workshops, and other "Primative Places"

This class will enable the student to design and construct basic 1" and ½" furniture pieces in a utilitarian/folk art style. We will work on strength, simplicity, bracing, and overall design of each piece, as well as delve into the quirkiness and complexity of some folk art furniture.

Student Supplies and Tools Needed: Your basic miniaturists' toolbox. Be sure that it has an X-acto saw, sandpapers, pin vise etc. Also, a "Dremel" tool would be useful.
