The Alice Blue Gown with James Carrington
Wednesday Oct 29 and Thursday Oct 30
9 AM - 4:30 PM
$400

Selma Rae has been up in the attic sorting out some old clothes. She finds her old Alice blue gown and can't resist trying it on in front of the mirror. Isn't it funny how clothes shrink when not worn for ages? On day one we take a pull from one of Jamie's young female moulds and spend the day piling on the age and weight. We make a pair of hands and legs and feet and get ready to assemble the figure. By day two we'll learn how to paint the face with Genesis Heat Set Oil Colors and add a wig. Now she's ready for dressing. The underwear is simplicity itself to do and the gown will be partially made so there should be little difficulty in dressing her.

Students will need to bring small sharp scissors maybe a lamp and some magnifiers. All tools clay and sewing kit will be supplied.
