Miniature knotwork very closely replicates the look of a beautifully hooked rug. You can get the delicious details we miniaturists crave, but for very little effort. Learn to make French and Colonial knots as you work on your choice of seasonal Welcome Mat design. We cover all techniques used; from properly using the embroidery hoop to finishing the edges of your rug. This technique is simple, but it does take some time so you won't complete the project in class, but you'll have all the knowledge you need along with printed guidelines and photos in your packet of information. We will supply all materials needed.

Students will need small embroidery scissors and light or magnification if they need it.
