Tricks of the Trade

This is a hands on lecture where students will learn a variety of techniques. Students will learn the following lessons: curling, cutting and dying feathers, the art of finding small lace, making a straight line on material, smocking, ruching, fan making, glove making, rose making (including cabbage rose), hat pins, squaring material, cutting straight, and anything else the class has time for.

Student Supplies and Tools Needed: Small scissors, needle and thread, glue, tweezers, new bottle of clear nail polish, ruler, and a rose tool.
