The Magic of the Drill Press with Tom Walden

This is a hands on techniques and tricks workshop only. Using both a Dremel and Cameron drill presses supplied by the instructor, students will learn how to cut circles, mortise and tenons, dados, and rabbets for joinery; make round or cove cuts for tops and bases; make your own custom molding, and use a pin routing jig to cut accurate irregular shapes & fretwork and you will learn how to make a jig to shape cabriole legs. No specific project will be completed but parts will be cut and directions supplied to assemble a bookcase at home.

Students will need safety glasses or goggles and small needle files.
