Shaker Side Table
with Pete & Pam Boorum

This side table comes from the Pleasant Hill Shaker community in Kentucky.  The record suggests that it may have been used as a desk, but it would be equally at home in your miniature setting as an occasional table, an informal dressing table, or even a work table in a country kitchen.  We will have custom legs and drawer knobs turned especially for this project   We'll use the Proxxon miniature table saw to focus on cutting lumber to size and making dadoes and rabbets on the furniture parts.  Finally, we'll fit the drawer.  Beginners are welcome in this hands-on table saw class.

Student Supplies & Tools needed:  A mechanical pencil with an eraser.  A gluing jig if you have one.  (We'll bring "loaners.")
