Construct this tiny vignette building that offers a glimpse into
the life and times of Charles Dickens' England. This half timbered
shop includes all materials to construct the building including
the timbering, brackets, sig, wooden shingled roof, flooring,
and cobblestone base. Also included are the work table, bench,
shelf, "leather", and shoes to get your shop started.
Furnishings for the second floor are left to your imagination.
This is a part of the Dickens Sketches series. Learn to do simple
construction, make accessories, do detail painting and antiquing.
Student Supplies and Tools Needed: Ruler, sharp pencil, X-acto
knife and extra blades, cutting mat, small scissors, small and
medium paint brushes, Tacky, Zap a Gap or other instant dry glues,
emery board or sand paper, tweezers and toothpicks.
