3B with frame: $545

Montresor is a village located in central France. Down a quiet side street, past rustic shops and small cafes, you will find quaint houses built out of stone and overgrown with leaves.

Montresor is a room box in 1" scale that is approx. 16" x 10" x 11" deep (40 x 25 x 27cm). Its small size makes this easy to ship or pack if you're flying. The interior, which does not include any furnishings, is ready for you to decorate as you desire. In this three-day class you will use Paperclay to create the brick and stonework, age and weather the window and door, install ambient lighting, paint and weather all surfaces and use landscaping to create the effect shown.

This project includes complete written instructions and timelines. All steps are illustrated by detailed photos making their first appearance in this workshop. Limited experience using Paperclay, glues and working with wood is recommended, but not required. Completion in class is anticipated. Furnishings shown are not included except landscaping and ambient lighting.
The silver ornate frame with glass and hinge assembly is optional. Please let me know by the cutoff time if you would like the frame (please note price difference at registration) and if you require a box for shipping from Philadelphia. See more photos and details at www.erikgoddard.com/workshops.html.

Student Supplies & Tools Needed: A basic tool kit is recommended. A miter box and saw is helpful. Students without tools please contact me at mail@erikgoddard.com by the cutoff date of October 15, 2011 so I can bring any essentials.
