Asian Themed Chair, Table and Shelf

Using "found objects" you will create this chair with choice of black or red velvet for the seat. You will add the finishing touches to the pre-painted black lacquer shelf unit, choosing the design you want to paint on the side of the shelf. You will also create the half round table using a portion of a cuff bracelet that was pre-painted with an Asian design. You will add shading and gold accents to complete the table, plus you will choose between 2 table leg lengths depending on where you would like to place your piece. The 3 items together are perfect for a sitting room or restaurant scene with an Asian theme. You will also be given some items to fill your shelf unit. Items will vary.

Student Supplies and Tools Needed: Scissors, ruler, fine paint brushes, X-acto knife, tacky glue, toothpicks and a cutting mat.
