My Fair Lady

Students will dress a porcelain doll made by Bonnie Sanford in
a replica of what Audrey Hepburn wore to the Ascot Races in My
Fair Lady. They will assemble the form fitting gown and apply
the lace overlay to it. Pre-pleated lace for around the neck and
sleeves will be added, along with the wide flounce at the bottom
of the gown. Students will finish the outfit with constructing
the ribbons and bows. The doll will be wigged and a finished hat
and parasol will be provided by Deb Moran.
Student Supplies and Tools Needed: Small sharp scissors, pointed
tweezers, sewing needle, small glue bottle with metal tip filled
with Aleene's Regular Tacky, and silk pins.
