French Pastry

In this class, students will use FIMO Polymer clay to create
a variety of French pastries suitable for a pastry or tea shop.
Pastries created will include a croquembouche with French maccaroons,
a cannole pyramid, and an assortment of small individual pastries,
all displayed on glass cake stands. Techniques used will include
slab construction, texturing, using a pasta machine to roll out
clay, and creating pastry cream and icing using acrylic paints
and a miniature piping bag.
Student Supplies and Tools Needed: 6x6 white smooth ceramic
tile, X-acto knife with #11 blade.
