¼" Scale Sparrow's Cottage

Join me in constructing a charming ¼' cottage with stone and half timber exterior, a small cottage bird house, and flower boxes and pots of bright flowers to grace the front of the house. The interior has four rooms, including a surprise birdhouse-shaped built in cabinet in the kitchen, and bird and wildlife patterned wallpapers throughout. Learn construction in small scale, including assembly, wallpaper techniques, aging techniques, making antique "glass" window panes, and simple landscaping. Sufficient prep on the project will be done to allow you to complete or come close to completing the class in the allotted time.

Student Supplies and Tools Needed: Ruler, sharp pencil, X-acto knife and extra blades, cutting mat, small scissors, small and medium paint brushes, Tacky, Zap a Gap or other instant dry glues, Yes or other wallpaper paste, emery board or sand paper, tweezers, toothpicks.
