Victorian Half-Doll in a Picture Frame

Create a Victorian 1" scale porcelain half-doll in a picture frame. Learn how to dress a doll in silk and fine laces, wire a skirt and decorate a hat. Each student will receive the La Petite Belle pattern the dress is based on, and the china painted porcelain doll will also be provided. Some pre-cutting and preparation will be done by the instructor. This project is adapted from a Kathie Mendenhall original.

Student Supplies and Tools Needed: Tacky glue, toothpicks or small nozzle bottle to apply glue, small sharp scissors, pointed tweezers, and a light if desired.
