Mountain Retreat in Quarter Scale

Come join me in making a representation of a peaceful escape you might find in the mountains of any country. The Mountain Retreat in Quarter Scale is a precisely engineered kit that is laser cut to exact standards and dimensions. The inside has a second floor, which is more of a loft with a ladder, and the roof at the very top is removable. The kit also includes some benches and side tables. Although this Mountain Retreat is quite easy to assemble, we will still be learning new assembly, aging and roofing techniques.

Student Supplies and Tools Needed: The tools required will be whatever is in a standard tool box, but should include an X-acto knife, scissors, several sizes of brushes and wood glue. The instructor will also have plenty of those items for sharing if a student is traveling by air. The instructor will also have a varied range of paints to cover the palette, or other colors for those who are interested in creating their own palette.
